Description
Only a few kilometers northwest of Lake Chiemsee, on the edge of the largest nature reserve in Bavaria, the Gasthof Unterwirt is located in the center of the idyllic village of Eggstätt. The cities of Salzburg, Kufstein, Berchtesgaden and the Königssee can be reached by bike within an hour. Innkeeper Johannes Widemann, himself a passionate tourer, is happy to accompany motorcycle travelers, time permitting, in the saddle of a BMW R 1200 GS and show them the region's insider tips.
In the beer garden, an eventful day ends excellently with all kinds of regional delicacies. All in all, the ideal starting point for unforgettable vacation days in the Chiemgau.
