Description
To discover the mountain village of Kellberg, it is necessary to follow the beautiful serpentines to the heights of the Bavarian mountains not far from the cathedral and bishop's town of Passau. And how could it be otherwise: The traveller will find the Kirchenwirt in direct neighbourhood to the time-honoured local church. All 15 rooms in the house, which is only a few years old, are very beautiful, large and friendly furnished with light real wood furniture. A special highlight is the nostalgic guest garden. When the weather is fine, host Charly Ritzer, the church landlord, personally heats up the barbecue here to pamper his guests. And it is also here that curvy excursions through the Bavarian Forest and into the Austrian Mühlviertel or Innviertel take their first shape.
