Description
Serpentines wind around the mountain, which is entered in the maps under the name Penegal. If you follow the signs of the same name at the height of the Mendel Pass, after a few kilometers you will reach the newly renovated PanoramaHotel Penegal, which has recently been under new management. The house is both an ideal starting point for pass tours and a good location for a stopover. As part of the Mendel ridge, the mountain peak is 1737 meters high and offers visitors a breathtaking panorama with a unique view of South Tyrol: the Ortler group to the west, the Brenta group to the southwest and the Dolomites to the east.
