Three kilometres from the city centre of Bolzano and directly at the entrance to the Dolomite Road, which leads through the famous Eggentaler Gorge, the 3-star Eggentaler Inn is situated away from the traffic, in the middle of greenery and right in the heart of South Tyrol. Whether in the Dolomites, Merano, Trentino or Lake Garda, this is the right place for bikers to set off in all directions, even long before the high passes are passable.
The host Armin Schmieder is himself a tour driver and is always ready to inform you about the most interesting and beautiful tours with a good glass of wine in a cosy group.
Otherwise, the host is at the stove to present his guests with a delicious Mediterranean cuisine, such as the best steaks from the wood stove grill in the country. Anyone who likes upscale cuisine without a big frippery will be more than surprised in the Eggentaler.
