Even the hosts at Gasthof Hereth don't like to be so clear-cut: Is Wirsberg still just in the Fichtelgebirge or just in the Franconian Forest? Whatever the case, there is no shortage of exciting motorcycle roads either here or there. There is no question that the Hereths' son Guido has the right tools for the job: For the pub kitchen it's stainless steel, for tricky country roads it's noble steel in the form of a Ducati Monster. He knows how to use both skilfully, because everything is magnificently seasoned and tastes of more, the dishes and the detailed touring tips.
